What we collect
When you submit an inquiry form, we collect the fields you provide: what you are looking for, where you are looking, your optional problem description, your contact detail and your consent confirmation.
The optional problem field may contain health information. If you include health information, it is special category data under GDPR Article 9. We process it only with your explicit consent through the form checkbox.
Why we use it
We use inquiry data to understand your request, prepare a relevant shortlist, contact you about that request and, where you ask us to help, make a direct referral introduction.
If a referral is made, we may share the relevant details with the specific clinic you are referred to so that the clinic can understand the request and respond. Listed or referred clinics are independent providers. mingvia is not their partner, affiliate or endorser.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics in cookieless mode to understand page traffic and site performance. The analytics beacon does not set cookies for mingvia visitors.
When the inquiry form is submitted, the page may also send a lightweight conversion event to mingvia. The event is used only to count form submissions. The form still works if this event is blocked or unavailable.
Legal bases
- GDPR, EU and EEA users: we process ordinary inquiry and contact data to take steps requested by you and for our legitimate interest in operating the directory and referral service. We process health information that you choose to provide on the basis of explicit consent under GDPR Article 9.
- Singapore PDPA: we collect, use and disclose personal data for notified purposes connected with your inquiry and referral request, based on consent and reasonable necessity for those purposes.
Retention
Inquiry records are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact about the request, unless we need to keep them longer for legal, dispute or security reasons, or unless you ask us to delete them earlier and no exception applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to receive a copy of it. EU and EEA users may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
You may withdraw consent, request deletion or ask questions by emailing hello@mingvia.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.
International referrals
mingvia is operated from Singapore and may refer you to clinics in China or other locations you request. If we share details with a clinic, the clinic handles its own response and care under its own privacy and medical obligations.
